Mr. Ron Gruber spoke at Holmes Junior High Scholl during an all-school Booking-it Forward Assembly. Mr. Gruber is featured in the book “Sons of Grace” written by author Mark Hughes. The book features 10 individuals who have faced struggles and challenges in their lives and it talks of how they have overcome them. Ron is a Holmes Jr. High alum who grew up in Cedar Falls, IA. He shared how he has overcome a number of challenges in his life that led him down a path of personal destruction and misery. Donated copies of the book “Sons of Grace” were made available to those who chose to pick one up.
